We are looking for a talented and experienced developer to join our team and make a major contribution in the development of our Android based platform for Set-Top box applications.

Technical skills:
• theoretical background and analytical skills (design patterns, algorithms, data structures, multi-threading, etc.)
• experienced Java developer
• ability to understand and work with backend APIs
• good design skills are a plus

Soft skills:
• willingness to work in a fast paced, start up like environment
passionate about technology and ready to take initiative in building the best Android apps
• good command of English
• work ethic, discipline and self-management skills (design, estimate, code, testing etc.)

Our new developer will participate in the software architecture design, create fancy user interfaces, get involved in Android details, etc.

We do most of the Web oriented software based on HTML5, NodeJS and AngularJS, but we also use RAD tools like Wakanda for Business and Backend type of software.
We develop a wide variety of projects and are always faced by new challenges.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for a developer who can demonstrates strong skills in JavaScript and CSS. Experience with NodeJS is a big advantage.

Other skills that we would like to see:
• HTTP protocol fluency
• Skills in data structures and algorithms
• An excellent work ethic
• Software engineering discipline (design, estimate, code, testing, etc.)
• The ability to work independently and as part of a small team that delivers on time
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Good command of English

Experience with one or more of these technologies is a very big plus: jQuery, AngularJS, WebSocket, Wakanda

Note: The applicant will be introduced to the specifics of Smart TV environment and development know-how on the spot.
